Located next to the airport in Greenville, you’ll find this free hidden gem. Runway Park features an educational amphitheater, walking ‘runways,’ an aviation-themed playground, hangar-themed picnic areas, and a Cessna 310 display. There’s also a big hill where children (and adults) can roll down from and some bleachers just to sit down and relax while looking at the airplanes and helicopters. Don’t forget to bring your bicycle or roller skates, and the walking runways are perfect for these activities!
The park is completely fenced and a massive hit with children of all ages. It’s even been ranked as #4 in the ten best things to do in Greenville, South Carolina. Visitors can rent park spaces for events and parties.
