Ah, the holidays. Love them or loathe them, no one can deny that there’s something extra magical in the city when the season comes around. Flickering fairy lights light up Charleston’s streets and there’s no escaping songs like “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and “Jingle Bells.” This year, Candlelight is fulfilling all your Christmas wishes with this series of holly jolly tribute concerts that combine breathtaking live music and thousands of flickering candles.
This December, hang up the stockings, leave the freshly baked gingerbread to cool off and head to The Unitarian Church for this marvelous musical extravaganza. Featuring Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker and beloved Holiday classics like “Deck the Halls” and “Joy to the World”, the evening’s music will have you feeling as enchanted and excited as a kid at Christmas.
Let this Holiday season be merry and bright with this super festive Candlelight concert in Charleston. Thanks to a sea of twinkling candles, The Unitarian Church will shine brighter than Rudolph’s nose to set the scene for this magical experience that’s the perfect antidote to any bah humbug blues.
They’ll be two concerts on the night, with the earlier show starting at 6:30pm and the later one at 9pm. Each concert takes place over the course of 60 minutes and doors shut 45 minutes prior to the concert start time.
