Oh what grape fun!
Calling all lovers of wine! It’s grape harvesting season and your best opportunity to take part of the wine-making process is here. Deep Water Vineyard, just 30 minutes away from Charleston, is hosting a Grape Stomping Festival you just can’t miss.
Crushing grapes with your feet is a method used in many countries to release the fruits’ juices and begin fermentation. Prepare your legs, because you can register for their children’s and adult’s stomping competition.
Your whole family is welcome. Yes, including your dog. There will be activities, food trucks, drinks, many local vendors, live music and a We Love Lucy look-a-like contest. Don’t forget to book your tickets in advance to guarantee your stomping experience.
