Wine lover? Drive down to the Deep Water Vineyard.

Do you love the idea of visiting a local vineyard and roaming free through its 48-acre winery? You’ll definitely fall for Deep Water Vineyard. Located among the majestic oaks of Wadmalaw Island, you’ll find a cozy and fabulous winery and vineyard that specialized in muscadine grapes. Taste their wine, walk their trails and enjoy a whole day of outdoor fun with your family, friends, and pet!

Deep Water is a spectacular place, known as the only domestic winery in Charleston and South Carolina. They grow, harvest their own grapes and bottle their wine all on-site. Learn about the wine-making process first-hand!

The vineyard offers a lot more than good wine. The owners invite you to bring your picnic baskets, blankets and chairs and relax looking at their breathtaking fields. Animals are also allowed but remember to keep them on a leash!

The best thing is that they also organize private tastings by reservation. If you’re thinking about an original idea for your next birthday, bachelorette party, anniversary, or family get-together, call the vineyard beforehand and set up a tasting. Chin chin!

Weekend Wine-Down

In case you’re wondering which day to head over to Deep Water, the answer is any day. But if you’re looking to socialize and listen to live music, Saturdays will be your best option. Every Saturday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, the vineyard hosts a “Weekend Wine-Down” for all visitors to wind down. This includes food and live music from local musicians to entertain all.

Relax, eat, drink and make the best out of your weekend!
