Ramen has become increasingly popular in the last few years and luckily, Charleston has some amazing joints that will make you drool. We’ve rounded up five of Charleston’s top essential ramen spots to enjoy. Whether at a new place or at a local classic, order a bowl and slurp up a meal that’ll keep your winter warm. 


1. Riso Noodle House  

Their menu includes many different noodle soups. However their ramen I served with lettuce, pork, fishcake, onions, egg and seaweed.

2. Mama Kim’s 

Mama Kim’s specializes in authentic Korean food. They also include some Japanese dishes like sushi. Don’t miss their spicy beef noodle soup, it will warm your heart!

3. Ko Cha Korean Restaurant 

Ko Cha is in a gas station. It’s known as the best Korean food in Charleston! Their menu features Korean, Chinese, and some Japanese dishes. Their ramen is $8.99 and you can choose your protein, between chicken, pork, beef, and tofu.

Sean Park is the owner and chef of this delicious place. They offer authentic sushi and innovative contemporary Japanese and Korean cuisine. Their noodle soup includes scallops, mussels, shrimp, squid, chicken, and shallots.

5. Chico Feo 

 Their Dan Dan noodles are to die for! Just like the image says, they are house-made noodles with seasoned ground pork, assorted greens, and spicy Sichuan sauce. Garnished with scallions and sesame seeds.
