The Riverbanks Zoo closes February, the last month of winter, with an amazing adult garden workshop where they’ll teach you how to make your own spring garden.
Learn how to grow your own flowers and veggies before the weather warms up. Scheduled for Saturday, February 26, experts will give you a basic gardening class that will focus on spring vegetables, basic soil conditioning, and gardening in small spaces.
In case you’re wondering what spring vegetables are, these include asparagus, herbs like dill, chives, and parsley, sprouts, radishes, artichokes, and rhubarb.
They will give you a broad overview of what you should be doing in your yard to prepare for spring. Start thinking about your questions, experts will be happy to give you answers and solve your problems.
