3. Support a woman-owned business
It’s Women’s History Month! And you can commemorate it by supporting any of the women-owned businesses in the Holy City. One option is to head over to the Honey Hive Dessert Bar, where famous women are celebrated with cocktails, and decoration was done by local artist Lucy Boland. 4. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at this Parade
St. Paddy’s Day is a big day for Charleston. Begin your celebration with mass at 8:00 am at St. Patricks Catholic Church followed by a parade at 10:00 am. Join the party which features live music, fire trucks, military units, fiddlers, dancers, and more. The full schedule and map can be found here.
5. Enjoy blooming flowers with a glass of wine at Magnolia Plantation
Magnolia Plantation & Gardens is hosting a special event called “Bloom Wine Strolls” on several dates throughout March. The after-hours event features a stroll through the gardens with a complimentary glass of wine. Tickets can be bought here.
6. Feed stingrays at the South Carolina Aquarium
The South Carolina Aquarium is now offering special tickets to feed their stingrays in a unique nature experience. For just $5 you can purchase a feeding voucher and visitors can hand the rays a fishy treat from 10:15 am through 4:00 pm.
7. Wrap up your day with live music at Cheers on the Pier
Charleston County Parks is bringing back Cheers on the Pier, an exciting event held on different dates throughout March at the Mount Pleasant Pier. Admission is free and features live music, craft beer, and a gorgeous sunset. Check out the music lineup here.
