The moon and stars enhance this flowing yoga class, which is inclusive and open to all abilities and fitness levels, so don’t worry if you haven’t practiced your chaturangas lately.
The event will take place on Monday, November 7, 2022, for a one-hour class from 6:30 to 7:30. Participants will receive a special glow-in-the-dark prize for showing up! Get your holiday spirit flowing with spectacular lakeside views of the holiday lights.
Yogis must register online at the Charleston Parks website. Advance registration is $10 per person and ends at 4:00 pm on the day of the event. If space is available, onsite registration will be open for an increased fee of $12 per person.
About the instructor – Starlight yoga
Instructor Ji Hwang’s approach to teaching stems from her belief that yoga practice is for everyone. Ji’s classes have a deep focus on alignment and anatomy, which is built by a focus on clear, accessible instruction. With a mindful emphasis on alignment, she safely guides and challenges her students step by step through creative and intelligent sequences providing all of the components needed for each individual to feel successful, all the while encouraging her students to have fun! Ji completed her initial 200-hr teacher training at The Shambhava School of Yoga in Hawaii in 2008, followed by Yoga Works Teacher Training in NYC and Charleston.
