Celebrate fall at the Harvest Festival set to be celebrated next November 5 at Johns Island.
There’s nothing more beautiful than experiencing fall in the Lowcountry. Get prepared for Thanksgiving at the Harvest Festival in Johns Island County Park, just 30 minutes away from downtown Charleston.
It’ll be a day full of activities, food, and music, a true celebration of Southern culture!
The festival will open its doors at 11:00 am, and live music from local bluegrass bands will start at noon.
The lineup will be the following:
12:00 pm – YeeHaw Junction
1:00 pm – Gravel Road
2:00 pm – The Blue Plantation Bands
3:00 pm – Watt’s Brothers
4:00 pm – Cane Creek String Band
You’ll be able to decorate pumpkins with your family and even take part in the Archery Turkey Day Shoot. This tournament will only be open for participants between the ages of 8 to 17. All competitors will do a friendly archery target-shooting showdown, and the competitors with the highest score will win a frozen turkey, ready to be cooked for Thanksgiving.
And that’s not it, visitors will have the opportunity to feast on different Southern delights, including Carolina barbeque, kettle corn, and other festival foods. The vendor list has not been announced yet but we’ll keep you posted!
