The Cooper Bridge Run is a Charleston tradition, right? Athletes from all around the Holy City come together to cross the famous Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge. This year, it’s taking place on April 2, and you can still sign up.
Each individual ticket is $60, with a 6.2-mile course that crosses the river before finishing in scenic downtown Charleston. Your registration includes a bib number with a computer timing chip, a race shirt, and a finisher’s medal.
The 10k race will start this Saturday at 8:00 am, and participants will have four hours to finish it, with a festival waiting for them at the end. There’ll be entertainment, vendors, food, souvenirs, refreshments, and live music by The Maxx.
