Halloween month is here!
Is anybody else here a Halloween fan? Fall is finally here and it’s definitely one of our favorite seasons to spend in Charleston. Get prepared for pumpkin and Halloween season, live music, and special events.
We’re ready! These are 7 things to do in Charleston this October:
1. Visit the Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch
The Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch has grown to be one of the largest fall festivals in SC. Buy your admission and enjoy delicious fall food, buy your own pumpkin, explore the giant eight-acre corn maze, play at the Petting Zoo, and hop aboard the Monster Hayride. The Pumpkin Patch is already open! Here’s everything you need to know.

2. Get to know the Legare Farms Pumpkin Patch and Maze
Head over to this amazing pumpkin patch located on Johns Island. Your admission includes a visit to the Farm Animals Barnyard and the Playground.
The pumpkin patch will be open from October 1 through October 31!

3. Get ready to rock at the Stevie Nicks and Vanessa Carlton concert
Stevie Nicks announced a concert in Charleston this October, and sheโs bringing Vanessa Carlton as a special guest.
The legendary singer will be coming to town on October 19.
4. Celebrate the South Carolina Stingrays Hockey Season
The 30th season of South Carolina Stingrays hockey begins in Norfolk on Friday, October 21st, with the home opener set for the following night at the North Charleston Coliseum.
5. Be part of Wine Stroll Wednesdays at Middleton Place
Visit Middleton Place for their fall garden strolls and wine tastings. Organized every Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:09 pm you’ll sip and stroll in a different Garden location each week while sampling different types of wine.

6. Sign up for a Lemongrass Basket Workshop
The Charleston Museum is hosting a Sweetgrass Basket workshop the third weekend of October, given by local artisan Sarah Edwards-Hammond. This cultural Lowcountry experience will be like non-other so don’t hesitate to sign up.

7. Run 5k at the Turtle Trek
Train for a 5k run on October 15th. The South Carolina Aquarium has organized a Turtle Trek, a 5k race on the beach where all the proceeds will be donated to the Sea Turtle Care Center.
