The last month of the year is finally here, and we’re feeling more festive than ever. If you’re looking for a family event to kick off the season, North Charleston is lighting its Christmas tree this Friday and will host a festival and a parade.
North Charleston Christmas Tree Lighting
The event will take place this Friday, December 3, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Felix C. Davis Community Center. There will be light music played by the North Charleston High School Chorus and Band, which will feature holiday songs. Mayor Keith Summey will be the special guest to light up the tree.
The lighting will be open to the public, and guests are invited to walk around the center to enjoy the tree and light displays.

Christmas Festival and Parade
You’re also invited to a Christmas Festival and Parade on Saturday, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There will be fun hayrides, delicious food, and photos with Santa. Take into account that the parade starts at 5:00.
