Charleston has a unique Christmas spirit that includes many events and festivals for locals and tourists alike. One of the most awaited ones is “The Holiday Festival of Lights” at the James Island County Park, where thousands of lights decorate trees and make figures perfect for taking pictures with the whole family.
The Holiday Festival of Lights 2021
It has arrived! And this year it’ll be different this year because it’s going to be open as the sun goes down so visitors see the lights come on for the evening.
There will be Dragon Boating this year, so buy tickets with your friends or head over with the idea of making new ones. Take a walk to the JICP Park Center Boat House. Ticketholders will enjoy an on-the-water introduction to this paddlesport while getting an up-close view of some of the most iconic light displays on the lake. Each boat is made for ten paddlers.
After the boat activity, there will be hot chocolate available and obviously, free admission to the Holiday Festival of Light. Be there or be square. Light up your holiday spirit!
