Sit on the beach and listen to local haunting stories at the Ghostly Tide Tales night!
One of our favorite parts of October in Charleston is that there’s a neverending number of plans for the whole family across the city. The weather is finally getting cooler, the perfect time for outdoor events and enjoying an afternoon at the beach. This year, the City of Isle of Palms is repeating its Ghostly Tide Tales, an event suitable for the whole family… if they’re brave enough!
Charleston is a town with a lot of history, where many assure spirits still roam, especially on the beaches, cemeteries, and historic buildings. How much do you know about these troubled souls?
Join everybody at the beach and listen to local haunting stories as you sit by an open campfire taking in the sundown. This year there will be a new spine-chilling ghost storyteller and more surprises! Have an eerie night listening to ghost and pirate stories connected to the Lowcountry.
Don’t forget your lawn chairs and blankets, along with a flashlight or two and your friends and family! In case you get thirsty or hungry, remember there will be hot cocoa available and smores.
