Deep Water Vineyard is inviting all wine lovers to this special tasting. Taking place just before summer, in peak honey-making season for the bees, they’re pairing four meads with bee-themed flavors of chocolate.
Their pairings normally fill up quickly, so don’t forget to book your tickets as soon as possible.
The pairing will be:
- Purist with honey and bee pollen truffle (honey and pollen with their bees)
- Nectar with a strawberry basil truffle
- Oasis with a mango truffle
- A sweet draft with “stinger” truffle, sweet and heat.
After the tasting, ticket holders are welcome to stay and explore the grounds as well as enjoy some fresh air while singer Eliza Novella plays some live music from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If you’re hungry, Lib’s Diner food truck will be selling hamburgers.
Pairings will be in groups of 25 people every hour and tickets cost $25 per person, which includes four meads, four chocolate, and a commemorative horn shot glass.
They will also be having regular wine tastings for $15 per person, offered every hour on the hour throughout the day. You can find more details here.
