The College of Charleston’s holiday light display in Cistern Yard is now open for visitors. The show will occur from 5:30 pm until 9:00 pm, with every public viewing starting every 30 minutes.
This year’s Cougar Night Lights
“Cougar Night Lights” will be open every day until January 1, 2022, except for December 9, when a private event for the College of Charleston students will be held, and showings will start at 6:30 pm.
This year’s event features a “Joy” sign, signifying a partnership with Explore Charleston and the Historic Charleston Foundation.
This traditional holiday event has been designed by John Reynolds, the Emmy Awards winner that has also created displays for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Super Bowl.
Enjoy thousands of twinkling lights and holiday tunes adorning the historical oaks of the college. The best thing is that it is free!
