Take a walk down Rainbow Row while breathing in some fresh air. Then sit down on a bench along the Battery. You’ll have the amazing views of the Charleston Harbor and of the historic homes and arquitecture of the city. The perfect surrounding for a romantic novel!

Say goodbye to the city life and absorb the Lowcountry’s nature. The park has plenty of running, cyclyng and walking paths as well as stunning fountains, enourmous trees and many places to sit under the shade and flip through some pages.

How about reading under a huge tree accompanied by your pup? This place is 10$ to get in but it’s totally worth it if you’re into history and taking a stroll. There’s an animal forest, many benches, picnic tables and open spaces to lay a blanket down and read while having a picnic.
