5 Amazing Seafood Restaurants In Charleston To Try Right Now

No trip to Charleston is complete without some fresh seafood.

Charleston is full of clear waters and sandy beaches, so it’s no wonder local restaurants boast the best delicacies of the sea. From raw bar favorites, fish sandwiches, shrimp and grits, fresh oysters to the she-crab soup. What restaurant will you visit this week?

We asked our Instagram followers to recommend their favorite seafood restaurants. This is what we got:

2. The Royal Tern

The Royal Tern is located in the heart of Johns Island. It’s known as a family restaurant where Chef Pell offers guests an array of freshly prepared seafood, shellfish towers, carpaccio and ceviches. Don’t miss out on the raw oysters (or any of the seafood entrees for that matter).
